Since Alex had to go to Columbia to get a photo taken for the National Guard, we decided to all go and take a spontaneous trip to the zoo. Grady and Emory were free and we had free passes from Don and Renate Creech, so it was our kind of outing! The weather was perfect and it was not crowded at all on a Tuesday afternoon!

| Grady flew through the exhibits- but he did spend more time looking at the birds and giraffes (or giraff-es, as he calls them). In the above photo, there are some lions behind us. Grady kept asking, "Why they not war-ing?" (roaring) Unfortunately, we did not hear them roar. |
