Look Who Found What

     Even though I just posted last week, Emory has some "new things", this week of her 5 month birthday.  First, what she learned from her brother:

           I was expecting her to wake up, but didn't hear a peep.When I peeked in her room, Houdini had escaped her swaddle and was wide awake sucking her thumb.    

     She also rolled over again, and is holding on to me (for dear life) when I hold her.  Mom says her hair is filling in a little-- I think it might be wishful thinking. She is also getting steady enough to sit up in the Bumbo. This past week she has also started becoming more distracted while nursing--wanting to see what's going on (like Grady talking, the TV, or some other noise).  
     In other news, Grady has been having a lot of fun at his first time in VBS! 

Traveling

     We have been traveling a lot the last few weeks and got to see lots of family! In Albany, we went to the annual family reunion with the White family. Here a few favorite pics of the family at the farm (courtesy of Stephanie and/or Andrew).

     We also visit Nana and Pop! We met them at the zoo in Columbia and the went back to the cabin for some fun on the boat! Again, I didn't take any pictures (I had my hands full!) so thanks to Pop.

Emory: 4 Months!

        A belated happy 4 months birthday to Emory! She went for her check-up and was 13 lbs and 14 oz (44th %ile), 24.74 inches (54th %ile) and her head is in the 75th %ile. (So some of those measurements may be a little off, but the percentiles are correct, I think. They don't write it down for me anymore.) 
     I can't say she has acquired tons of skills since my last post, but has rolled over once and looks like she may be getting a few bottom teeth shortly!
