Mama's Helper

Gray gave me lots of fresh pears, so I decided to bake a Sour Cream Pear Pie (Yes! I baked!). Grady did what he could to create an obstacle course for me at the same time.

And here is the finished product.

Favorites

Grady has some favorite snacks he is used to. I put him down for 2 seconds at CVS, and when I turned around, he had a canister of Puffs and a bag of Yogurt Drops in his hands. (I have no idea where he got the Yogurt Drops from- there was not a display of them!)

One Year Check-Up

Grady went to the doctor for his 1 year check-up. He weighs 21# and 12 oz (45%ile) and is 30.5 inches long (70%ile). While the doctor and I talked, Grady was being very busy- going into his diaper bag and pulling out his "puffs" canister and trying to open it. The doctor said he must be very smart, and Grady nodded to her in agreement. So funny! He had 2 shots, but just cried for a bit.

Final 1st Birthday Party

Nana and Pop visited on Grady's actual birthday- Sunday the 25th- and we went out for BBQ. Here he is opening his last few gifts. (Nana was there, but did not make it into any of our pictures!)

The girls had fun tickling Grady.

Grady's Second 1st Birthday Party

The party had an "Under the Sea"theme. The kids played in the pool.

Grady thought it was a "no hands" cake-eating contest.
