Christmas Dinner

Grady enjoyed his first solid food meal (he has ahad a little taste of avocado- wasn't a huge fan). Loved the carrots! He cried when I took the spoon away to get some more. As you can see, when I would get the spoon close, he would grab it and put it in his mouth.

First Christmas

Here is Grady enjoying his gifts- wrapping paper and all!

Santa's Lap

A few weekends ago was "Family Day" at the National Guard. I did not care about Grady sitting on Santa's lap that much, but if he did, he got a gift. So, we had him sit on Santa's lap, and I decided to get his "First Picture with Santa". Unfortunately, the camera wouldn't work! I got very upset that I now was not going to have Grady's first time sitting on Santa's lap captured in a photo. So we had to find the "photo-guy" for Alex's class, put Grady back on Santa's lap after all the other kids had left and got the picture. (So this was technically his 2nd time on Santa's lap.)

Grady had his 4 month appointment today! He is 16 lbs, 8 ozs (75th percentile) and 27.5 inches (95th percentile). He has 2 teeth on the bottom and likes to exercise his vocal range with high pitched squeals.

Laughing

I finally was able to get Grady laughing on video. Despite him not feeling well, he was all smiles here. Sorry it is so dark!

Milestones

With Nana's coaching, Grady rolled over this week! He has repeated the act 5 times. He also seems to be getting a tooth. We are not sure if that is bothering him, or the respiratory virus he has!

Bath Time!

Dad loves to give Grady a bath. I haven't bathed Grady in 2 months!

Robe

Grady's most recent gift was a fancy Ralph Lauren robe. Looks like he is ready for the boxing ring! (Or spa)

New Tricks

Grady's latest feats are holding his ankles while I change his diaper and sucking on his toes. He has also started drooling and sticking his tongue out.

3 Months!

Grady will be 3 months old this Sunday! Here are some pictures of him trying to sit up! He has a long way to go. He can hold it for 2 seconds before he sinks down into some crazy yoga position...

Cannibal

Go to the following link to see Grady hanging out with his friend, Hamilton. Hamilton is being patient and letting Grady nibble on his arm. http://sethmorganfamily.blogspot.com/2009/10/best-buds.html

Free at Last!

We have been swaddling Grady when sleeps since he was born, but since he has been escaping and sucking his thumb, we decided to forego swaddling and see if he slept as well. You can see how he is enjoying being unrestrained! (Unfortunately he did wake up during the night, but hopefully that was because he was sick and not because he wasn't swaddled.)

Standing

Grady likes to try to stand. He will stand leaning against the arm of the couch for several minutes.

2 Month Check-up

Grady had his check up today. It was also Alex's first day with Grady alone all day. It was a little hectic (oops! the car seat is in my car and don't forget the bottle!) but everything turned out fine! Grady is 14 lbs, 8 oz. and 25 inches long! 90th percentile for both. He also got a few shots :( but handled them well. Took a nice long nap this afternoon.

"Glamour Shots..."

Grady had a great time at a friend's party!

Grady and his friend, Hamilton. They will be spending a lot of time together when Hamilton's mom watches Grady while I work.

Baby Bjorn

Grady loved riding in the Baby Bjorn. He fell asleep during our walk around the neighborhood!

Stretch!

We always love to watch Grady stretch when he wakes up.
